Full Professor of International Law at the Department of Law, University of Bari “Aldo Moro” (Uniba).
A qualified lawyer since 1999 and a journalist since 1992, she is a regular contributor to Il Sole 24 Ore and has curated a blog on International Law and European Union Law since 2012.
Currently, she is Co-Principal Investigator (Co-PI) of the University of Bari unit for the Horizon 2021-2027 European project “PRESERVE”, which focuses on privacy protection and ethics in the use of Big Data for criminal investigations. She was also part of the scientific team for the European BEAMS program (Breaking Down European Attitudes towards Migrant/Minority Stereotypes), funded by the European Commission (2013-2014).
Since 2022, she has been a consultant for the National Council of Notaries on Private International Law and European Union Law, collaborating with the Committee on European and International Affairs.
