The board induction activity conducted for the Board of Directors of one of Italy’s leading banking institutions focused on strengthening the Board’s competencies in the area of personal data protection.
The primary objective was to foster a thorough understanding of the regulatory implications associated with data management, within a context of increasing attention to compliance and the accountability of governance bodies.
Particular emphasis was placed on the ability to identify and manage risks related to data breaches, as well as on the development of corporate policies aligned with the current regulatory framework.
The induction session held for the Board of Directors of a leading Italian software company aimed to foster a corporate culture grounded in the critical understanding of artificial intelligence technologies, with a specific focus on the AI Act and its regulatory and operational implications.
In a highly innovative context, it was essential to support the Board in acquiring strategic competencies to govern technological developments with awareness and responsibility.
The training program was tailored to the specific needs of the Board of Directors and addressed key topics such as AI ethics, transparency in algorithmic decision-making, and the legal implications of emerging technologies, with particular attention to the provisions of the AI Act.
The initiative encouraged a structured reflection on both the opportunities and risks associated with adopting AI-based solutions, equipping the Board with practical tools for informed and responsible technological governance.
We have designed and led advanced training programs for public sector leaders, military officers, and CISOs, strengthening their capabilities in cybersecurity governance and risk management.
Our work includes directing the Cyber Security Academy at Khalifa University and contributing as a Scientific Committee Member to the CISO Executive Program by DCIP and DESC (Dubai), focused on executive-level cyber risk strategy.

We carried out a training course for an important public institution, aimed at strengthening staff skills on data processing and its implications in terms of regulatory compliance.
We delivered numerous trainings on digital regulation and the intersection between AI and the legal profession to institutions such as the Northern Ireland Bar Association and OfReg (Cayman Islands), the charity Action Against Medical Accidents, and the NGOs Privacy International and the Digital Freedom Fund.
We designed and implemented training programs aimed at strengthening the professional skills of legal experts and corporate legal consultants, providing them with a strategic and in-depth understanding of the evolution of AI products and infrastructures, in relation to key market players and the emerging regulations in this sector.
We defined and implemented procedures, operational models, and organizational structures to protect business activities, ensuring compliance with the regulatory framework of Decree Law 231/2001 and key European regulations, including the Data Act, Digital Services Act, AI Act, and cybersecurity regulations, with a specific focus on compliance with D.P.C.M. July 22, 2011.
Starting from general policies and risk mitigation models, we defined operational instructions and codes of conduct for staff, and adjusted clauses and obligations in regulatory documents related to the company’s contractual relationships.
We established and trained working groups composed of senior management, tasked with overseeing and managing critical issues, with the aim of ensuring adequate resilience levels. These activities provided concrete tools for effective and secure operational management, ensuring compliance with the required confidentiality, accuracy, timeliness, and precision standards for the company’s most sensitive operations.
We designed and implemented a training program for another major banking sector, aimed at strengthening internal skills on artificial intelligence regulation and its implications in terms of regulatory compliance.
We designed and delivered a training program aimed at strengthening the professional skills of legal practitioners and corporate legal advisors in the strategic understanding and evolution of artificial intelligence products and infrastructures, with respect to key industry players and emerging regulations in this market.
This training pathway enabled us to provide these professionals with a solid understanding of AI product models and their development trends, equipping them to proactively and knowledgeably engage with the complex regulatory framework at the EU level.
